Tanisha To Host Bad Girls Club: Las Vegas Reunion

NEW YORK - April 23, 2012 - Tanisha Thomas, star of Oxygen's upcoming "Tanisha Gets Married" and former Bad Girl, will take the reins as host of a heated "Bad Girls Club" season eight two-part reunion special. It's no holds barred when the girls from Las Vegas reunite in Los Angeles to dish on the latest season's gossip, with part one - in all its drama - premiering on Monday, April 30 at 10PM ET/PT. Tensions build and accusations fly with part two of the reunion special airing on Monday, May 7 at 10PM ET/PT. Additionally, at the end of the two-part reunion, fans will be treated to a sneak peek of season nine - "Bad Girls Club Mexico" - which will premiere later this year on Oxygen and mark the first BGC house with an international locale in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
This past season of "Bad Girls Club" also featured a series first, identical twins Dani and Gabi Victor, who created quite a stir this season in the Las Vegas house with outrageous behavior like strewing condiments all over another Bad Girl's mattress. Along with party girl Amy and tough-as-nails Erica, this season of "Bad Girls Club" may have been the craziest yet. Have tensions eased since the girls have been away? And, how will Tanisha keep the peace? Viewers' most burning questions will be answered in this special two-part reunion.
Following part two of the reunion, Tanisha's new docu-series "Tanisha Gets Married" premieres on Oxygen at a special time of 11PM ET/PT on Monday, May 7 before moving to its regular time slot of 10PM ET/PT on Mondays beginning May 14.
"Tanisha has been part of Oxygen's extended family for seven years and she's grown into a terrific television personality - she's become a rising star!" said Rod Aissa, SVP, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. "Now Tanisha is getting the fairytale wedding little girls dream of, but not without adding her trademark comedy and a dose of drama we've come to expect from her."

The "godmother" of all Bad Girls, Tanisha has come a long way since her days on "Bad Girls Club: Los Angeles." Now, with a budding career as a television host and on-air personality, this Bad Girl is all grown up as she plans the wedding of her dreams. But, this doesn't mean she's going to settle down!

Bad Girls Club: Las Vegas Gia Arrested for Assault

File this one under PAR FOR THE COURSE ... one of the members of the "Bad Girls Club" was arrested in South Carolina last night for assault while in town for an event promoting the show.
Gia Sapp-Hernandez, who appeared on the most recent season of the Oxygen show, was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Columbia, S.C. last night on charges of third degree assault and battery.
She's still in custody and being held on a $2,130 bond.

"Bad Girls Club" star Gia Sapp-Hernandez fights like a friggin' Rottweiler ... so says her accuser who told cops she took a BITE out of him during a brawl in South Carolina this weekend.
TMZ broke the story ... Gia was arrested for assault Saturday morning after a violent incident outside of a nightclub.
Now, we've learned ... witnesses told police Gia had been fighting with multiple MEN that night ... including people she had been partying with earlier that evening.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... when cops arrived on scene ... one of the men told cops Gia chomped down on his arm during the ruckus ... and he had a nasty bite mark to prove it.
After talking with witnesses and viewing the bite mark ... cops decided to arrest Gia for assault and battery in the 3rd degree.
She was eventually released on a $2,130 bond.
So far, no comment from Gia.
